Rismasari explained dengue fever case in Central Jakarta reached 918 cases since January to June 2024. In June, the case is increasing much.

"There were 893 cases up to June 3. But it increased to 918 cases by June 6," she said, Friday (6/7).

The highest case, she added, is in Kemayoran Sub-district by 264 cases and lowest case is in Gambir Sub-district by 22 cases.

In order to handle the case escalation, her side has appealed larva monitoring personnel to optimize larva eradication at residential, school, praying house, and public area.

She admitted the larva eradication has been routinely held twice a week. In fact, the personnel's effort will not get maximal result without resident's assistant.

"I hope the residents will be more care with this case since their houses are their own responsibility," she added.
